A Resource Room teacher works closely with classroom teachers, parents, professionals and para professionals to support the specific student and provides individualized instruction for students without an IEP or 504 plan who are struggling in a particular subject or area.
- As a small private school, we have one Resource Room teacher and do not offer any auxiliary services. We can accommodate some students based on their needs and what their IEP requires, but we do not have the resources to deal with a wide variety of disabilities.
- Occupational, Speech, & Physical Therapy are offered through Oneonta City School District or the students local school district for students with an IEP (Individualized Education Plan) or 504 plan and incorporated at OCCS.
