Middle and High School Spanish
Mrs. Deemer learned Spanish when she spent a year in Honduras as a high school exchange student. She also spent four months there in college, helping in a newly establish neighborhood church and working on a Latin American studies project. She attended Colorado College for three years, then finished her B.A. degree at SUNY Oneonta after she got married. Since she did not learn Spanish in the classroom, her emphasis in her classes at OCCS (8th grade and high school) is on basic conversation and comprehension, rather than on grammar. She has been at OCCS since 2014.
